Tonight Bryan thought it would be a good idea to teach the kids some emergency preparedness stuff. We covered the basics; 911, fires (Milli suggested that to put out a house fire we run outside, grab some snow, and throw it on the house), and strangers in the house.
Bryan teaching the kids about escaping from fires:

WHOA. You probably won't have to tell them twice. it looks like the lesson has sunk in.
ReplyDeleteI seriously laughed out loud when I read this and saw your kids expressions to the informaion that was being given to them. Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteLove the big scared eyes on Liam.
ReplyDeleteI think Milli just might have nightmares tonight.
ReplyDeletehahaha! i'm trying to stifle my laughter with my family asleep, but liam's expression is too awesome.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Oh, they are so cute. We get similar expressions and I'm just praying that my kids never see the episode of "Little House on the Prairie" where the blind school burns down until they are 21. I think they'd need therapy after that.
ReplyDeletethese pictures are just too classic.
ReplyDeleteLiam's expression is priceless! How are you guys doing? I need to make a date with you go come out and visit and meet cute little Greta! By the way, I tagged you-so you can see our blog and find out more. Hope you guys are doing great! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA Pam. I am laughing so loud right now!!!!
ReplyDeletecan his eyes get any bigger? Wait till Mili starts school and the fire alarm goes off, thats when the nightmares begin.
ReplyDeleteI love Liams face!!! Milli was filling Kella in on all the details. What a great lesson!
ReplyDeleteOh those sweet little baby faces, I just want to kiss. I remember this family home evening when I was little, and I started crying over the earthquake part.
ReplyDeleteThat is some big info for such a little boy! I'm sure he won't forget it...could those eyes be any bigger??
ReplyDeleteP.S.
I'm coming to UT around the 13th...email me and I'll make a trip up to visit you, Jessie, and the kiddos!!
So funny!! Those faces say it all. It is important stuff to teach them. Ben just knows "stop, drop and roll" which he learned from a Clifford book.
ReplyDeleteTheir little faces are hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny and cute! J.D. would have been happy to come over as a guest speaker by the way (he's got all of his fireman gear).
ReplyDeletethose pictures brought tears to my eyes of complete laughter. liams face is so priceless!!!!
ReplyDeletei think i need to print these out in a series & hang them on my wall i love them SO much!!!
ReplyDeleteI still can't stop laughing...was this FHE inspired by our 5th Sunday combined meeting perhaps??
ReplyDeleteI get on your blog all the time, but I have never laughed as much as I did tonight. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during this conversation. Your kids are too cute!
