Banner

Because no one wants a heavy post lingering at the top (especially me), how about something involving colors that make you think you are at a circus.

As I have mentioned briefly, upcoming changes for our family are plenty. I have had to be more proactive than I'd like to be about being prepared for things like birthdays and Easter. I'm more of a last minute, late night kind of person, but in our current state if I continued to be that person, Easter baskets would be filled with gross close out candy and there would be a little boy who felt like his birthday was ignored. So, I'm patting my own back for having L's birthday year-in-review ready a few weeks ahead of schedule. While hanging M's birthday installation, which I loved, I determined that I needed to do something a little simpler for L.

So his year-in-review pictures were printed, cut into triangle shapes, mounted on crazy bright patterned scrapbook paper and sewn into double fold bias tape.

We could possibly even keep it and hang it in his room.
Even though his birthday is still weeks away, he already saw it and really wants to keep it up, and I see no harm in getting the most use out of this as possible.

**thank you for reminding me that kindness is still heavily outweighing criticism.

Looks like I've been missing out on some intense blogging and rude comments. Like others have already said, I'm quite surprised someone would leave that on YOUR blog. The only thing I can figure out is that it must be someone who was trying to find something wrong with a perfect mom so she could feel better about herself. Seriously, if your other readers are like me, they walk away from your blog inspired to be a more creative, talented, fun mom like you. Come to think of it, it is kind of annoying that you're so good at everything. I think I'll go try to think of something I could criticize you about. That will make me feel better about myself, right?

Hello Pam, it Jodi (smodi)- First off - please don't stop blogging, your blog is very, very inspiring, whether your a young mom, or a little bit older (like me) LOL. You are an amazing person, period. I have always admired you as a friend, mother, wife, neighbor. The adversary seems to pop up in the oddest places and you are doing what you are suppose to be doing! Being an awesome mom and wife, and you can tell by the way your children are. They are very lucky children to have very creative, fun, happy, loving parents!
