Blessing Day

Today Bryan blessed G during church. I wish I could comment on the actual blessing, but as I was wrestling with L the entire time, I only caught bits and pieces. Good bits and pieces, but still, not the whole thing. She did really well and didn't cry or anything.

After church we had our families and a few friends over for yum yum mexican food (we have a lady. A tamale lady. Do you have a tamale lady? If you don't, you can borrow ours.)

She barely fit into her dress (I couldn't quite zip up the back). The bracelet on her right hand was made by good friend Cathy.

Of course G got held a lot.

And most of the grandkids were in dress up the entire time.

Looks like a great day! I wish I could sew. A blessing dress means so much when made by a mom!

I love her dress! And you made it? Of course you made it! Pam, could you please do a post about what you are NOT good at? I love reading your blog....but really, it is not the best for my self-esteem! For real, though, you pretty much rock. Hope I didn't kill you with comments today, but I had not been on here for a while, and apparently I can't just read...I usually have something to say.
