My mom gave me a box full of my old things from grade school, including this card I made her. Keep in mind, this is a card I made for her. For Mother's Day.
And I have to say I haven't changed a whole lot. I'm still to this day planning my birthday, months in advance, promising Bryan things like "I promise, if I get these boots, I won't wear them until my birthday and I won't ask for anything when my birthday actually comes around."

This made me LAUGH OUT LOUD, and call Nick to come running in to read it. I have a really hard time thinking that was/is the type of person you are. You are one of the nicest most caring persons I've ever met.
I first read your requests as "sweat pants"...I was thinking, "Man, Pam sure has changed"....but now I see it says sweater, pants.
This cracks me up too...you are NOT like this!!! But I guess everyone is a little like that when it comes to requesting things from Mom!
Pam this is why I love you so much. Birthdays are a sacred event. I look at it like you were just trying to help your mom out so that she wouldn't fret, right?
These kinds of things are such great treasures to read years later. I distinctly remember writing a poem to my mom that included the phrase "I have to go now because I have to pee" for mother's day one year. I think she still has it.
LOL Psm, that is so funny! :)
Thank you. That is really funny!! I can't help but think I am a little like that too, birthdays are special!
That's classic, Pam! I do the same thing... Blake says I have a "birth month" instead of birthday. So cute that your mom saved this card!
That card is so funny!
I love the By the way...
I love finding stuff like that. Funny how the world really did revolve around us when we were that age...our poor mothers.
i love this card! i'm so glad she kept it. it sounds like something milli would do too
